Winter Camp Course details
Children should obtain skills of teamwork, communication and presentation for the new society in which they are going to take part. In order to assist kids to become a competitive candidate for the future worldwide employment market, the education we provide emphasizes the importance of practical skills. We believe that every child has the chance to reach to their fullest potential.
Thank you Pamela for teaching the kids how to take care of both themselves and their buddies. Despite the bone-chilling wind and your fear for darkness, you still managed to muster your courage to check on the kids at night. Furthermore, thank you for your detailed pre-trip plan. Yian’s farm only provided the arena, however you still put the plan together for the 2-day camping for 70 children. Whenever I read the list of things to buy and do, I could only imagine how much time and effort you have put in.
Thank you Selina. Although the railway trip caused you losing your voice, but you still went through so much trouble to make this trip possible. This trip was definitely an unforgettable trip for our dearest children in Perimeter.
After the camp, Tina said to me: “Chrissy, how lucky you are to have such dedicated teachers who would do anything that their reach for the kids. We were so tense every moment, afraid that someone might be left behind or some sweethearts might be too tired.” Penny also said: “I was so emotional on the last day of our railway trip, Dean. On one hand, it is because that the kids have gotten back home safe and sound; on the other hand, it is so hard to say goodbye to the kids after building this strong bond with the kids. Time has gone by so fast.”
Sarah, I really appreciate that you spent so much time and work to figure out all the amazing science games to trigger kids’ curiosity and eager to learn. Puffing a ping-pong ball seemed like a piece of cake. However how come I just could not finish the task? It was not until the kids game me a hint that I finally manage to accomplish it. When the kids were enjoying the games, they easily lose track of time and they always gain a sense of accomplishment.
Penny, your class was also called 3 kilograms, because your children always easily finish 3kg of noodles and still asked for more. The sweethearts from your class always look at me and said: “ Mommy Chrissy, we are the best eater in Perimeter.” Honey, eat away! You are still growing, eat all you can eat, then you can grow as tall and healthy as you can.
Dear Kaiting, the cup song was a blest. At first, they were all off tempo, until now they are able to give a performance that is more than excellent. This process taught the kids the lesson of “ Practice makes perfect”.
Thank you Jean, your kids were the most playful ones in Perimeter, they were not fond of classes; thus, you still manage to plan out an interesting and meaningful course for them. You taught them that there is a possibility that you can learn while having fun.
Finally big thanks to Donna. Apart from leading the grade ones, you still have to take care of all the photos that were taken during the camp and upload them onto our Facebook page. I know that all of this work must take up abundant of your personal time. Also please send my appreciation to your daughter Daphne. Thank you for lending us your mom for so many days and nights.
Perimeter International School was able to start 2015 in such a blissful manner is all thanks to you.
